Brazilian, Born in
São Paulo on 6 August 1970. I’ve been working as a
reporter-photographer since 1992 and as such, have participates in
several interesting news articles, in which there is a great variety of
themes, see some of them in the News Reports page. Photo-documentary in
the African West, Burkina Faso and Ghana (humanitarian help project), I
was also in Turkey in the end of 1999, after the earthquake. In 2000, I
did the work that was most significant to me, namely the 500th
anniversary of Brazil celebrations, for which the Brazilian government
built Capitânia Ship, a reproduction of Pedro Alvares
Cabral’s ship, and I was the only photo-reporter to be on
board. I was also present in the Genova/G-8 meeting (terror and chaos),
armed conflict in Israel in 1995, and others….
I studied in Italy for 2
years at the superior Institute of integrated communication and I
graduated as a Photojournalist, with a thesis about the history of the
Italian cinema at KingsWay College in London, England.
Now a days I live in Frankfurt am Main in Germany, where I work as a
freelance for several newspapers and I also do press agencies work for
some companies as well as Studio services. German communication
agencies; Publik Forum, Ev. Frankfurter, Dpa. As a correspondent I collaborate with the
Agencies Agestado/AE , Brainpix and to the magazine MotoAdventure, all
of them in São Paulo/SP.
